“I began doing full time tree work in my 30s. I was often tired and sore, even after a weekend off. I was not very flexible at all, and it slowed me down- whether doing Plant Health Care, climbing, or working on the ground. Kirsten started posting Mobility Monday videos and I decided to try the activity each Monday. I struggle with consistency, but when the brave.roots giveaway kicked off, I did at least one mobility exercise per day! I have been relatively consistent with at least one or two activities per day, some times I even complete the whole program for the day. The simple videos show good examples and explanations of the activities and potential modifications if you're like me and not super flexible yet. I have a long ways to go in my mobility journey, but I have gained flexibility and am able to do more at work and home.”
